James “Jimmy” Michael Travens II, born April 8, 1995, passed away on October 18, 2026, at age 31 in Huntsville, Alabama.
James shared a meaningful life with family, friends, and the Huntsville community while showing a special love for animals.
James was preceded in passing by their father, James “Jimbo” Michael Travens, and grandparents John Pruett, Bobbi Pruett, James Travens, Rita Travens, and Bill Crabtree.
Loved ones will gather for visitation from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, 2320 Bob Wallace Avenue SW, Huntsville, Alabama 35805.
A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 PM at the same location under the care of Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
The family welcomes memorial gifts to the Tarvin Fund, managed by Bentley Animal Hospital, in recognition of James’s compassion for animals.
